- This video tries to explain that there are situations that use the subjunctive that don't always have a "QUE". The video doesn't really show MANY examples of triggers that don't use "QUE". It shows "tan pronto como", but you could also include "cuando" as another example.

- Keep working on vocabulary (verbs 1-20)
- Translation of Sentences given in class
- Solidify all vocabulary from Love unit.
- Show and Tell will begin Monday. It is NOT graded, but it is a chance for you to speak to your classmates about anything you like (within reason) for 3 minutes. Describe your object physically or its purpose, or how to make it, etc. Your main goal is to get comfortable speaking in front of your classmates for an extended time. It goes without saying objects/items must be appropriate. If you have doubts about something, pick something else that you KNOW would be fine. :-)

- Read 2nd Article on Google Classroom "Es más difícil amarse ahora".
- Add 20 nouns to your vocab. You should have all adjectives down and should be done with 20 nouns by tonight at least.
- Finish Reading "A veces"--Use handout that you receive in Class on Friday to help as your crutch if needed but don't read the whole thing in English. Instead, read in spanish and Look back and forth when needed as you run into a phase/word.

- Final Papers Due Thursday by class time! You must push "submit" for it to be considered "on time". Your essays must also include the 5 detailed reflections of what you learned "grammatically" in particular but you may also mention "format or organization" if that was something new. "Specific" means giving examples of your error and what you may have learned from it.
- Practice Oral talk of "what is a stroke and what symptoms should we be aware of". Should be 2 minutes or so. You should list each Symptom and give a short 1-2 sentences after each symptom. I should be able to understand what a stroke is and what to look for. Finally, give me a sentence or two of what I should do if I see someone with these symptoms. Use the website that is on google for information.
- Prepare for Oral Speaking about Strokes
- Learn last adjectives so that whole vocab sheet is complete
- Go to the Spanish proficiency exercises (search google for "Spanish Texas" and choose 1st link or just click this link. Go to activity 21 which deals with describing an ailment to a doctor. Watch one of the first 3 videos. (simplified example, Beatriz, or Fernando. Similar to what we did in class, modify the provided Google Slides Template that will be in classroom to have a "pre-watching" slide and "post-watching questions". In the pre-watch slides, select words from the dialogue that others might need to be taught and or be aware of. You can put the definitions there in English or use them in context in Spanish as if you were teaching a class in Spanish. Look through the dialogue to identify any phrases, expressions, vocabulary, that you may have struggled with as you listened to the dialogue. In the post watching slide, include at least 3-4 questions that check the understanding of a listener. Don't make up a question that is a one word answer but maybe ask a question that takes some extra thought. For example, if the speaker said "here in Caracas", you might ask: What country is being referenced (to see if the listener knows that Venezuela is the match".
- Study your vocabulary for Next week's vocabulary quiz. Unit exam is Tuesday and Vocabulary test is Wednesday.

- Find an article that relates to the country YOU have chosen for the year as your focus country. The article must be based on medicine. It can deal with the largest medical issues they have or how they have handled a particular crisis etc. Read the article (skim) and look for some major points that you can write about.

- Translate the 7 questions and answers MENTALLY so that you are ready to answer them after reading the article. On paper translate at least 2 of your choice AND write down 5-10 words that you were NOT able to guess while reading THE questions. Do not yet read the article.
- If you want to get ahead for tomorrow night, begin typing your responses to Email. Unit Exam next week (probably Wednesday).

- Look at vocabulary list and learn first 10 adjectives from Left column (abierto to adecuado). Write out 10 sentences using the word in context. Do homework on loose leaf paper so that you can submit your homework and re-insert into your binder. If all your sentences are related to social networks, you may earn 1 bonus point, but this is not required.
- Obtain a 3 ring binder by next Tuesday.

- Create a 20 word Quizlet from your adjective list (from abierto to novedoso) and play quizlet for 10-15 minutes. Learn these 20 terms. We will begin tomorrow with small group self quizzing. (not for a grade).
- Memorize Irregular Past Participles, write them out at least 3 times. (there are 11 in the song). Then write 11 sentences using the past participles AND The PRESENT PERFECT.
- 5th Hour: Please Enroll in Google Classroom. Sign into your school Google account first, then go to "Classroom" and finally use the code y5xfnz to join the class. Thank you.
- Go to this page, (Click Here) and look at the two larger graphs. What information is being presented? -Please write your response. Take your best guess. If you would like a preview of what might be on a test, continue down to the multimedia slides and look at #15 out of #16 slides. You will need to maximize the screen. A sample test question may ask you to explain 3 of the 10 security recommendations.
- Make sure to obtain a 3 ring binder by Tuesday. This is a homework assignment. :-)
